So excited about what Google docs has to offer my group collaboration projects in class. Will be having students create gmail accounts next fall to utilize this in the class.
Integrating the practices into my own classroom and helping others become aware of the practices.
I would like to spend time actually working with my lessons and working in PBL, flipped learning, Google docs, etc into my lessons for next year. And working on preparing my web page!

1. The best take away from today was the use of google forms and spreadsheets.
2. My goal is to become comfortable enough with the new technology to become a user and promoter.
3. I would love to begin learning how to build my own website... However, I would love the district to choose a universal management system.

1. I am loving Google Docs so far...a LOT to learn, but I am very excited to be learning! I can see ways this will help me in organizing my instruction & collaborating with colleagues. I am hoping very much to have access to the technology to utilize with my students as well...not there yet, by a long shot, in my teaching situation.
2.I will be very glad to help others learn the pieces we are learning here, & assist them in utilizing all of this in whatever ways are possible! I work with classroom & special ed teachers for intervention and I can see many applications to assist them with in our shared classroom instruction.
3. Ways I can use this technology with my students when my time with them & access to technology is very limited.

I learned a great deal of info that I can use to gather DI data from around the state ( not just in my classroom).
I think all teachers need to have a chance to attend these sessions.
Jayson has been encouraging us to build websites all year. Now, I think I have at least a tiny clue as to how to begin.

1. I am taking away so many ideas that I will need to filter out my ideas. However, I am looking into using many iPad and wiki integration for many learning types and keep the students activated.
2. My confidence with technology is not built up enough to carry on a conference, but I could probably answer minor questions about lower level tech questions, aside from some apps that I use for my art class.
3. I have always wanted to know how to do a website, even though it is very overwhelming for me to catch everything thrown at me. Learning about a website would just add to the pile. To have an art department website would be awesome.

1 .Best "take away": Google Docs! Wonderful for shared writing experience for my second graders! Love the potential for editing and looking back prior to revisions too.
2. I am willing to be a resource or help in any way I can. I see myself sharing info through collaboration and discussion with colleagues as we plan and work together.
3 .I want to start my webpage now, but I'll wait till August :)

1. Experience of actually using google docs. However google chrome would need to be installed on all our computers in order to promote googled of use.
2. I hope to serve as a resource that others can come to with questions and suggestions on integrating technology and 21st century skills. I also hope to continue to grow through additional professional development opportunities.
3. Project based learning and blended learning experience as well as have the opportunity to work on the school website. I think we should use our creativity from the last two days to put together something informative to share with the rest of the staff ( example RAP, movie, puppet show etc...)

The best take-away for me is the feeling that I am moving forward in the learning process.
I hope to encourage others by example that if I can do it - everyone can.
I would like to build our websites so we can help others at the beginning of the year.
Google docs is walking on the wild side!

The best thing about today was learning about all of the GOOGLE docs. So informative. In the future, I hope to be a goto for my colleagues who were not able to attend. I agree with Sara. We should build something together to show our peers how exciting an easy technology can be in the classroom.

The best take away today was definitely Google Docs. So many things that can be used daily by teachers and students.
I see myself as mentor to others who were unable to attend this professional development opportunity. This has been one of the best PD days I have ever attended.
I would also like more information on setting up a class website.
I would also be willing to be a part of putting together a presentation for others so they can also benefit

I am glad everyone was so happy with Google Docs...It looks like we will be going with Google as our provider...Students should have a gmail account provided by the school. This will open many doors for you!

Eric and I are using Google Calendar collaboratively to get our observation schedule for the year in place. I can also see us sharing Google Docs as we build meeting agendas and other staff information items. While we have done they by attaching documents to emails, we had to save them and then reattach; this will be so much easier and interactive. So, as you can see, I am already using the information I gained from our session. Thanks to everyone for the positive feedback and useful suggestions. We are definitely working on getting a web page training for one of the August days.

I love that all of the docs are interactive. This will definitely help out with the special education schedule for iep's. Also, to respond to Jayson's comment earlier about G-Mail accounts for the students... Roberta and I were saying the same thing as we left Wednesday. How do we want to plan to do this? Special could probably take care of it themselves but what about general?

Google Docs could be used collaboratively by all teachers when information is being gathered for an annual IEP review meeting. No more copying multiple shets of paper for a students' teahcers that get lost on the desk ....never to be found again. Can't wait to start using it.
